exporting people data

How do I export course roster to excel? They are currently in the "people" list and we'd like to export everything to excel for other use.

Hi Renae,

Currently in Canvas there isn't an export peoples function in each individual course, but I can provide you with two options you could use.

  1. You can go into the gradebook and export the grade book.  This will provide you the student names, SIS ID's and SIS Login ID's if  you're set to be able to see those.  
  2. You can use the provisioning‌ enrollment report. Where you can pull enrollments for an entire term at a time.
