I assigned fudge points on a quiz in error. Now I want to set them back to zero, but Speedgrader doesn't let me - it keeps the fudge points there and gives the students a score above 100%. I searched the history here and found that other people complained about this in the past. The previous question was closed because the Canvas people said the bug was fixed back in 2019. Apparently it hasn't been fixed, at least not for me.

Are you clicking update after you change the fudge points?
Of course, I had hit update. The problem in my case was that the box cannot stand emptiness: it must be filled with a zero. I had entered negative fudge points that would not delete even after I had hit update (several times). I tried entering 0, and it worked.
