iFrame video not visible in Chrome

Jump to solution

Hi,

Have iFrame code embedded video with HML Media library, but cannot see video using chrome, video is visible and playing in Firefox.

Canvas is https and hml media library is http, is that causing problem?

Looking for a solution,

Thanks in Advance.

donepudi_g, I'm actually surprised that the video is visible and playing in Firefox; it might be a function of how you have customized your Firefox security settings. Normally, neither Firefox nor Chrome will display any http: content in Canvas without user intervention. If you want content to display automatically in Firefox or Chrome, the link to the content has to be https: and the hosting site must support the https: protocol.

For a deeper discussion of this, I'll refer you to Which browsers does Canvas support? and External or "insecure" content: Strategies for helping students cope. You might also enjoy  @clong 's Going Beyond the Shield - Google Slides .
