Hey Canvas gurus,

I’ve recently started my Master’s Degree, and I use an iPad to work on stuff. When I open the Canvas app and try to view my college’s “Interactive Lecture,” I get the error in the title. It’s accompanied with a link to “Open in Safari.” When I click the link, I receive the below error.

404 Not Found

  • Code: NoSuchKey
  • Message: The specified key does not exist.
  • Key: Prod/api/Error
  • RequestId: 8WG9SCJCWDYP1VRE
  • HostId: rFgCPpqyc1gvw50fuxpYn5gylpFjG/TCjihFO8OGhC25x74slN5f1F4/GuW7Iby5+ctQBYuY4yc=

An Error Occurred While Attempting to Retrieve a Custom Error Document

  • Code: NoSuchKey
  • Message: The specified key does not exist.
  • Key: error.html

I initially thought it might be an issue with my specific school or the class I’m enrolled in, but I also use an Android phone. I downloaded the Canvas app on there, and it immediately opened the Interactive Lecture with no issues.

I seriously appreciate any help or guidance you can give me!

@Dean-Luda,

Thanks for the message. Without knowing a few details (how is the content being linked, how is the content being created, etc) it's hard to diagnose if this is related to the app, Safari, or just the content itself. I would highly suggest you troubleshoot this with your local tech support. They will be able to create a support ticket if it's related to the mobile app.
