@jeff11 ‌, Free For Teachers does not impose a limitation on the number of courses in an account or the number of students in a course; an FFT course is full production Canvas in that respect. Please refer to the Canvas Account Comparisons PDF for course quota (storage) comparisons.

Hi @Stef_retired, are you able to confirm that this is still true in 2021? That is, that there aren't limitations on the number of courses, nor number of students per course, with Canvas Free for Teachers?

Now that Canvas Network isn't accepting new courses, we are considering using Canvas Free for Teachers to host a MOOC.

@_mk At this writing, Instructure has not placed a limit on the number of courses or students in Free For Teachers accounts. That being said, if you're considering using FFT for a MOOC, you will probably want to be able to use account-level admin functionality that is only available to paid accounts. You can request a demo here.

Perfect—thanks a bunch @Stef_retired!
