"Notes" do not save after entering.

when completing student grading, any entered comments in the "Notes" column will not save.  They disappear if you refresh your browser or leave the grades Tab.

Would you please report this to Canvas Support, @BrianBeck , by using the pathway to support provided by your school? General instructions for contacting support are in How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?

I have tried to report it from my end, however, without any success yet. Notes have been working all term, and suddenly they vanished altogether for almost 140 students. I still have the column but I can't save any annotations in the column (I can press the save button but as soon as I refresh the page, the annotation is gone).
