red dot discussions

What do the red dots indicate beside some of my discussion questions?

 @aelindem , I don't see a red dot, I see a blue dot. What it represents is that I haven't read that discussion post yet. You should either be able to click on it to remove it (it will go clear) or if you have it set to automatic it will go away on it's own once you've scrolled past the post.

Hi  @aelindem ...

 @kona  is correct with her response.  Each school can theme their Canvas environment differently (for example, with school colors), and so while you may see a red dot, Kona and I may see a different color in our Canvas environments.  The Guide that describes the dot is here:
