taking a quizz in the APP (android) just show a blank screen

Greetings, i am a teacher at the university and some of my students are using the instructure provided Android APP to take the quizzes but they Got a blank screen insted, this is just a problem with the APP, when they take the same quizz from the browser on their mobiles they are just fine, its the support for quizzes for the APP no longer available? please help

I and some of my students are also having this issue. All of us are on Android phones. The problem started 2 or 3 days ago. It appears that Instructure released an update to the student app 3 days ago. But the problem is happening both on phones that have the updated version of the app and on phones that have not been updated yet.

this is grave issue due to my institutions having final examns this past 3 days and a LOT of students couldnt take them due to this issue, i recomend always using the browser and never use the APP for these exact reasons

Hello @carlos_gomez1 

There is currently an issue with students seeing blank screens while  taking quizzes on the Canvas app. The engineers at Canvas are aware of this and trying to fix the issue asap. For now (if they are taking finals etc.) please ask them to do this on a browser - on a computer, tablet, even their androids - it should rectify the issue while it is being worked on. It should be the most recent version 6.21.1 as 6.19 was working just fine. Hopefully this helps.

Hi there! this issue is still present, is there any estimate time it will fixed? this affect gravely our testing examns even tho we greatly recomend to no use the CANVAS APP because it has lot of issues, but this one is the more grave one, i try today again to take

  

a test from a student acount and the issue is still present, adjunt some screens
