Are you using a supported web browser when accessing Canvas? I've never seen what you are describing but it seems like I have heard of someone having the issue and it was related to using an old, non supported web browser. I've included links below to a couple of documents related to supported computer systems and browsers for Canvas. Another thought is that is you have any Extensions or Add ons added to your browser, they can mess with how things get displayed. For instance a pop up or add blocker might try to add legitimate content on some sites so it might also be worth looking into if you have something like that running.
- What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas?
- Which browsers does Canvas support? (up-to-date versions of Chrome and Firefox will be your best options here)
