When viewing grades, students can filter by grading period and can switch between grading periods by tapping the menu.

The Canvas by Instructure app natively supports multiple choice quiz questions.

On the multiple grading period feature, does this just show assignments and assignment grades by grading period, or is there an overall grade for the grading period?  The screen shot shows N/A under total.  Could someone please share a screen shot of the latter.

Hi  @joseph_allen 

The multiple grading period feature should calculate the same way it does in the web version of Canvas - displaying the grade for the selected grading period. If you find that it isn't calculating correctly for you in the app, please submit a ticket so we can be sure things are functioning correctly. Thanks!
