Add Attachments to New Messages
Attachments can be added to new messages in the Canvas by Instructure app.
Multiple Dropdown Questions
The Canvas by Instructure app natively supports Multiple Dropdown quiz questions.
The release for 5.7.9 is what we call a patch set, which is just bug fixes or other non-feature adjustments. All releases since 5.7 have been patch sets and don't include release notes. This specific update includes support for the new Android operating system. Any notable changes to the app will be identified by release notes in an upcoming release.
Since this came out, none of our Android users can use the app on their phones. I've had our authentication person look at this, and it appears the app isn't redirecting properly. I have a ticket open, as this looks like it's not on our end, but on how the app is redirecting incorrectly.
We are excited to announce a new release to the Canvas Student app for Android. Release notes can be found here: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-13968-canvas-by-instructure-release-notes-android-57?sr=sea.... Comments on this page will now be closed as all conversation should now take place in the notes for the most current release. Have a great day!
