After the latest Canvas Studio release, the Annotations function has been having some problems. A problem that is occurring for me presently is that annotations at the beginning of a recording (which I have in a lot of lectures) require the student to hit the "Continue" button approx 5 times before the video will actually continue. I have tried watching the videos on both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. I have also tried deleting and adding the annotation multiple times in both browsers. I'm hoping someone knows what I'm suddenly doing wrong or hoping to get some help before the Summer term starts.

I just tested this in my own sandbox environment where I also have Studio. I opened two separate videos right within Canvas Studio. Both of them have a single annotation near the beginning of the video. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to replicate your issue. The videos both stopped to show me the annotation, and I was able to click the button one time to clear the annotation and resume playing the video.
I'm going to tag @AkosFarago in my response in case he has any other feedback for you or if he is aware of similar issues based on what you describe. Hopefully you'll hear from him soon.
Thx for the response. I'd like to verify one thing. Did your videos already have annotations in them, or did you just recently add new annotations to try it out? It might be a problem that only occurs on newly annotated videos?
I've been re-recording all of my lectures throughout the Spring semester to update them and to add Video Quizzes. Everything was working fine until about a month ago. At that time, I started having trouble with the way the quizzes were being displayed (missing radio buttons on multiple choice questions and no way to select an answer when watching the video). After a couple of weeks, that problem no longer occurred but then the trouble with the Annotations started.
