Elementary Dashboard for Entire Account?

My team and I (we are EdTech teacher instructional leaders) have created a test sub account to learn more about the Elementary Dashboard. Now that we have enabled it for our new sub account, we have found each of our entire accounts hold the elementary dashboard. Is that supposed to happen? It makes sense to me, I just wanted to make sure. 

Therefore, no matter how many different sub accounts we are in, if we are in at least one that has the elementary dashboard enabled, our entire account will remain that way, correct?

That is what happened to me.

If you are enrolled as a teacher or student in any class that has Elementary Enhancements enabled it will change all of your enrollments to look like the elem enhancements. The way that I got around this was making up a teacher account and then masqueraded as the teacher that I created to edit the Elementary Enhancement subjects in the sub account. That leaves my "normal" account alone. Hope that helps.

I thought I read somewhere that there will be a toggle button for teachers to "turn off" elementary enhancements for their own account.  Am I correct in this?

I found that once I activated the Canvas for Elementary, it would show my homeroom, but when I went to my other courses on the dashboard that were in different sub accounts, my classes appeared normal.

@cunninghama I believe there was mention of this in one of the Friday videos as a feature for admins who would be supporting users working under both UIs. I don't recall seeing this discussed by the Canvas team yet for teachers but there have been some solid use cases for that presented in this forum.
