Switching to Canvas for Elementary Interface

Hello,

I am super excited about the Canvas for Elementary roll out. I think it is exactly what our 3-5 grade teachers have wanted. My question is, does anyone know if someone who was using the Classic Canvas interface last year, and wants to use the Canvas for Elem. are they able to import their material from last year into their new Homeroom or Dashboard so they are no having to recreate anything? Hope that made sense.

yes, everything is designed for backwards compatibility. While testing, I've imported numerous Classic Canvas courses into the new interface and toggled account settings between Classic and elementary with no issues.
