Do Catalog students see Canvas updates?

What happens if I have already listed a course in Catalog and then decide to make edits to the course in Canvas?  Let's say I edit a page.  Do the updates appear to all of the users who are enrolled through Catalog?   Or do I need to relist the course when I make updates?

When I tried to test this scenario, the updates did seem to be there.  I wanted to make sure that this would happen for all students though, regardless of section.

You do not need to relist the course. The listing will stay the same.

Thanks, Jessica, but I'm not sure I understand.  What is the best workflow for making updates in Canvas that I want end users (students) to see?

If you want users to see it then you would need to send an announcement in Canvas letting them know what was updated. There isn't anything in Catalog.
