In Group assignment submissions, should all students in a group be able to see the instructor's Speedgrader notes?

Using Speedgrader, our instructors are able to leave feedback off to the side. We're finding in Group assignments that only the submitter can see the instructor's notes while the other members of that group, all who participated in the assignment, cannot see the notes. Is this a setting in our Canvas app to change or is this intended functionality?
