How do I change my picture from Avatar to an upload photo and help in other areas.

Hi I just recently applied to this community, but I am having a real hard time trying to understand how this works, I have been trying to upload a photo of myself but it is not allowing me to do so. It only allows me to use the avatar.  I would like help also in using this community as this is my frirst time using this platform. I keep going in circles not sure of what to do.

A community member shared with me that she clicked on what said "My profile" on the top corner of the screen, then clicked on the profile picture which brought her to a screen where it said she could edit the picture. It gave me the run around, too. But, it may work for you.

To change your profile picture, click on your profile picture, located in the top right corner, where the Products, Groups, and Explore tabs are located. When you click on it, a dropdown should appear. Click on "My profile". It should then navigate you to your Profile page. Click on your profile picture. Then, you should be able to change your profile picture.

@slh2k5 I have also not been able to find the option to upload a picture for my avatar, and have only been able to choose from the collections "Community Avatars" and "Pandas."  I found this post, in which a comment says that you must "rank up" as a Community member before you can upload your own avatar picture.  I suspect this is my issue; maybe it is yours as well.
