I have been finding a lot of posts that seem to have an old link that has been replaced with "The specified item was not found." Here is one example thread: Best solution for recording attendance from a magnetic card reader?

What has happened, and how can I find the old links?

Hi,  @steven_williams ‌, typically, "The specified item was not found" displays when the resource or item to which the link directs has been deleted (e.g., authors can delete their own content). In this case, based on the context, it appears that the link was an @mention of a specific user who is no longer a member.

Since this is a question about the Community platform rather than about Canvas per se, I've moved it to the Meta Community Group‌ where we discuss all-things-Community.
