How can you keep access to a Jive account when email changes?

Has anyone had to change their account information in Canvas (and by extension, their login to Jive), and been able to keep access to their Community profile, activity, and - most importantly - their points/ranking? I have an awesome employee who has been crushing it in the Community while he's been a contractor with us, and now that he's officially a permanent employee, they rewarded him by changing his email address :smileyshocked: Which means his Canvas account will update, and I assume that will break his connection to his Jive account.

Any thoughts?

Thank you for coming to the Meta group to ask this question.  Smiley Happy

To answer your question; DM the community team or send email to community@instructure and we can help.  What needs to happen is for the employee to create a new community Jive account.  Then we can copy the new login info to the old account and delete the new account.  Then he or she can log into Jive with their new credentials and still retain all their old community activity.
