Annual Salary: $46,000 - $50,000
FLSA STATUS: Salary/Non-Exempt
HOURS: Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 37.5 hours per week. Hours to include evenings and weekends as needed, as determined by the College. Some degree of remote work may be possible (as determined by the College), but incumbent must live within commutable distance of campus to accommodate in-person schedule.

JOB SUMMARY: The IT Application Systems Manager is the primary technical support role for SC4’s Canvas learning management system. In addition, this position will support other institutional systems, as assigned, in support of the Office of Information Technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support and management of LMS system and integrated services
- Evaluate, research solutions and recommend emerging technologies to support institutional initiatives.
- Implement new technology and provide training to end-users.
- Assist in the technical support and requests for the portal
- Troubleshoot and maintain video streaming systems
- Provide technical support for the SC4 Experience Center equipment
- Provide website back-up support
- Troubleshoot, and maintain programmable lighting systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and provide training for IP camera systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and provide training for IP access control system
- Recommend, train end-users and develop workflows to improve business process efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Supervised by the Executive Director of Technology.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field and at least two (2) years of similar experience in an educational or business environment required. Understanding and exposure to the community college setting preferred. Experience managing a Canvas or similar learning management system highly preferred. Some degree of remote work may be possible, but incumbent must live within commutable distance of campus to accommodate in-person schedule (as determined by the College).

- Ability to develop and follow a logical process to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work effectively with faculty and staff at all levels.
- Organized and detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills; quick learner.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including: Teams, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word. Preferred proficiency in Canvas, SharePoint, and WordPress.
- Strong work ethic, energetic, self-motivated, sense of urgency and “can-do” attitude.
- Team player, able to get along well with others, advocate and exemplify a cooperative approach to solving problems.
