All,

We have a commercial project and we need to integrate our application into the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). The educational institutions we are working with require us to use the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard and we are having a bit of a challenge doing that.

We are looking for a short term consultancy position to get us over the hill in the integration effort.

We can support remote work with sufficient references.

We are a fairly large firm in Orlando, Florida and will discuss more once we get in contact.

Thank you all and have a good Friday.

Tony

Hi - we're a small, remote engineering team based across the US (mix of EST/PST time zones) that's looking for an experienced Canvas developer to help us ramp up on our understanding/experience with Canvas. This can be a nights/weekends role, p/t, starting short- but could be long-term if there's a good fit.

Our core business works with apprenticeship programs to track on-the-job training and classroom training. Most of the apprenticeship programs we serve have an educational partner like a community college, however, some have asked us about integrating with their Canvas instance or potentially running one for them

We'd like to someone to help us ramp up on Canvas across the board, show us the way with an early integration, and help us see what it'd take to host one-to-many instances ourselves.

The ideal candidate has experience with any number of the following:
* Integrating an application to hosted Canvas instances
* Launching a standalone version of Canvas

* Launching a standalone version of Canvas on Heroku
* Integrating a third party application's auth system with a standalone version of Canvas
* Can work well other other developers to help teach the ins-and-outs of their platform, running this locally, documentation, etc.

If you're interested, please email me at patrick [at] workhands.us. Thanks!
