Setting Assignment unlock date for a specific Section through API

Hi, people

We will start using course sections in a project and we need to lock a specific module to each section in a different date, while allowing access to any other course content.

I've seen in the canvas roadmap that doing this directly will be available soon, but for now we decided to lock this module until another one is completed and that one will have an assignment that will be available just in the day we want to unlock the locked module to that specific section.

Setting this unlock date to an assignment directly through the canvas frontend is easy but I couldn't discover how to set a unlock date for a specifc section through the api.

Has anybody done such implementation?

Hi @braien_machado,

I believe what you want is an Assignment Overrides call for this, most likely the create one.  I'm going to assume you're a bit familiar with the API and will find the linked guide helpful, but if you have questions around using this API, please do reply back and let us know!
