We have tags turned on now from the feature preview. I was in EAP earlier and it either didn't act this way or I didn't notice since I only had it turned on for a special testing subaccount.
I can't see the tag interface on a course site unless I add myself as a teacher. This makes it annoying to support or demonstrate tags for professors as I'd rather not have to add myself to a bunch of random course sites.
Has it always been this way or is there something we need to change settingwise to allow subaccount admins to automatically interact with tags on a site without being added as an instructor.

Hi there @tle1 ,
Does your admin role happen to have the 'Manage Differentiation Tags' permission enabled? If not, this would likely be why you can't see the tags as an admin without being enrolled as a teacher in the course. Since the teacher role has permission to manage differentiation tags, but your admin role doesn't, that's why it won't work until you actually join the course as a teacher.
I hope this helps!

Thanks, I'll have to check with our admins to see if that's set up then. I don't have access to do this myself.
