Differentiation Tags removes Sections as a filter option on the People page

Hi @SamGarza1 , I hope this is not an intended change to the People page with Differentiation Tags. Once it is enabled, the Sections filter disappears from the People page. I captured this in a pair of screenshots of the same course.

In the first image, Differentiation Tags are off and the Sections selector appears as a drop-down filter:

Without Differentiation Tags enabled, the Sections selector is visible.

In the second image, Differentiation Tags are on and the Sections selector disappears:

With Differentiation Tags enabled, the Sections selector disappears.

I suspect that the Sections filter is one your institution has inserted in your instance of Canvas.  It not a thing I see in mine, and it's not pictured in the documentation.

Thank you @rake_9  for that comment. I thought I had turned off all of my browser scripts before I did that testing. I looked again, this time in a different browser, and I don't see that section selector menu.

Now I'm going to turn my question into an idea proposal.

We have an external application to allow instructors to add and manage non-Registrar enrollments.  As much as possible, it looks like the Canvas People page, but with additional functions and information. An option to filter by section is on our wish list.  When you showed your screenshot, I had to double-check that Instructure hadn't beaten us to it!
