How do I control the automatic timeout for users who are idle?

By default, users who are idle for 40 minutes are automatically logged out. However, you can change this as needed by configuring the idle session timeout.

Open Administration Page

In the Navigation Menu, click the Admin link.

In the Elevate K-12 Analytics Administration page, click the Security link.

Open Idle Session Timeout Settings

In the Security Management Navigation Menu, click the Idle Session Timeout Settings link [1], or on the Security Management Overview page you can click the Idle Session Timeout Settings link [2].

To enable the timeout settings control, enable the Idle Session Timeout toggle.

By default, a user can be idle for 40 minutes until they are automatically logged out. To select a different amount of time, click and drag the controller icon to a new time on the slider.

You can select between 0 and 360 minutes (6 hours).
