Students (login issues -- Login name is a long number and issues logging in)

I sent specific invite link to my course from inside canvas. About 100 students logged in fine. Some cannot login at all, has had them verfiy email multiple times with no luck.

Also, their usernames are long numbers and if they change it inside profile, it now shows 2 accounts and won't let them in at all.

On this free version, I can't do anything with usernames or passwords so I have 20 students who are just out of luck using canvas at all.

Help-- no response from Canvas... I simply have 20 students (more today) who just can't use it.
