eBooks in Higher Ed

We are working on a pilot project to use eBooks/eTextbooks and possible use of publisher content for select courses at WCU during the Spring 2023 semester.  If anyone is using the LTI to integrate the use of these eBooks and publisher content through Canvas, would you be interested in sharing any information about your experience and best practices?

I used to use the platform Blackboard and eBooks were their bread and butter. There is a feature called smartbooks that allowed you to read the chapters and answer valid questions pertaining to the material. The feature would not let you go further until you mastered the percentage of questions correctly. Pretty cool actually. Micro and Macro economics were a breeze because of this.
