I have a few faculty members who use Surface Pros. What we have run into, for some reason, they are unable to upload to ARC. You'll see the process start, then it freezes before the status bar comes up. However, if they use any other computer, there have no problems. Not sure what to do or how to move forward.
Unfortunately, I can't tell them to no longer use Surface Pros, these are what we distribute to faculty.
rglore, this is an interesting issue and I have to admit after reading this I had to see if Arc would upload a video from my Surface Pro. Which yes, it did, just fine. Yet, I've got an older model Surface Pro so I'm not sure if that could have something to do with it or not. My recommendation is to turn this in to Canvas Support and see if they can figure out what's going on. Also, if you do figure it out, could you please come back and let us know! This type of information would be very good to have.
