I am seeking comments, suggestions, and feedback from anyone who has experience or interest in how to best design courses to be used by international students. BYU-Idaho and BYU-Pathway Worldwide have students throughout the world. While most of our students are in the United States, more and more are international. We are concerned about the response time and functionality of our courses internationally and especially in less developed regions of the world.
I would like to hear about the experience of others. What things of worked? What things do we need to be careful of? What Canvas features function well internationally and which do not? What apps have international limitations? How have you optimized courses for consumption by students with lower bandwidth?
