Accessibility summary


In response to this earlier thread: Accessibility check requirement, I'm sharing the second part of the idea for discussion. A summary of accessibility recommendations that can be queried like the Link Validator would be helpful to address old content that has violations.

This would be incredibly useful for me.  Part of my job is to review courses for quality assurance.  I typically go through most pages to check for links viability and proper citation, but it's very time consuming to open every page to check the accessibility checker.  Some central feed showing items with potential problems would be great.

Honestly, an account level report for the same would also be useful.  If we could export a csv that would show courses with accessibility issues, the item with the issue, and the type of issue, we could sort by the most impactful issues and try to solve the biggest accessibility issues across all of our courses.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
