Add ability for observers to sort their view of the Gradebook

I have gotten feedback from numerous parents that it would greatly improve their user experience to be able to sort their view of the gradebook by a chosen column (score, points possible, due date, assignment title, status, etc.). As an advisory teacher who views many students' gradebooks from an observer-type perspective, I agree this would be a very helpful feature!

Thanks for sharing this idea. We already have a conversation underway requesting additional sorting capabilities for students' Grades pages, so we've edited this idea to focus it on the observer experience.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
