Add sort and search capabilities to ePortfolio list of student submissions

When students want to add a prior submission to their eportfolio, the only way to find it is to look through a list of submissions organized by date, but without an actual date listed.  Since they are listed chronologically, it makes sense that the date of the submission or the due date of the assignment were actually listed next to the name of the submission, so students could quickly scan through dates. 

Students should also be able to sort submission alphabetically. 

Also, it would be great if submissions were able to be grouped by course. 

Finally, please add a search feature so students can find a submission by typing the name of the assignment.

Thanks for sharing this feedback. As your idea moves forward for broader discussion, have you looked into Portfolium? I think you'll find the features and functionality to be quite robust. Please have a look through Portfolium Network for resources.

Ditto.  It would save my students a lot of time to have the submit assignments feature in ePortfolio be searchable or organized by class.  Thanks.

Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
