When we post an announcement on a module it would be great if you could allow the option to like it. At present you are only allowed to like a reply. As we post to 400 students, it would be fantastic for this to happen
This would be excellent. Imagine a world where a student gets their announcement as a push notification and can instantly like it from their phone's lock screen just to acknowledge they received it, at minimum.
I would like to see the option, when you allow liking on an announcement, for students and observers to like the actual announcement. I could see this coming in handy as an option to be able to ask students and observers to like the announcement to confirm they have read it without having to allow comments.
As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
