Admin tool for Conferences

With Covid-19 creating an unprecedented need for Online Conferences inside Canvas, we also have a high number of staff, and students that require assistance with access conferences.

 

It would be useful to have a page / section in the admin section that gave some details on conferences.

  • A list of current conferences, that were happening at any one time.
    And some logs so an admin could see peak times that conferences were occurring.
  • The list of conferences should also tell the admin which courses the conferences are in, and a link, so an admin can click to the conferences page of that course.
  • The ability to see how the conference was set up - The duration, setup options and who was invited.

 

This would go a long way to helping admins assist staff and students who are panicking about missing their conference.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
