Allow email recipient list to contain oneself

In the Canvas mail system, you can't add yourself as a recipient
of an email. I like to do this to see what the message looks like to the
students, and would like to be able to send it to my university address,
not just a Canvas inbox. I can't even do the latter.   I am told
it is good enough that it exists in my Sent mail, but I disagree.

You'll be happy to know that this is existing functionality, and so we've archived the idea. Users who have enabled the 'Conversations Created By Me' permission in their user settings will receive a copy of the message they sent in their external notifications.
