Allowing Printing in Discussions Re-Design

Our faculty have a need to print discussion threads (dissertations, accreditation, accommodations, personal reading choice). With the most recent update to the Discussion Re-Design, the addition of the sidebar to view replies to posts makes it impossible to print an entire thread. Previously, you could right-click and print to print it all - now, it' blocked by  the sidebar and/or all replies are not included. 

We would love for Canvas to either remove the sidebar feature or give us the ability to print a discussion thread.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
