Assignment Media Feedback: Captioning

Faculty using SpeedGrader have the option to provide feedback to students in several formats:  score, rubric, text, audio, media (video), and file upload.  This is excellent.

When the media option is used, however, no option to add captions to the recording exists.  For obvious accessibility reasons this is a much needed feature.

As an alternative one could add another feedback option - Studio - as others have requested elsewhere.

This idea/enhancement request is specific to the Media option.  Captioning ability is needed.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
