Canvas App To-Do List: Editing and Adding to the List

As a student I regularly use the to-do list in the Canvas app on iOS to manage my coursework, but at times I accidentally mark an assignment as "done" and then lose track of it.

Could we have something like a tab within the app to view items recently marked done to be able to unmark them? Or a way to add our own assignments to the to-do list that populate within the app. I can do this when on the desktop version, but it doesn't show in the app.
