Canvas Message Idea for accessing current messages

I have noticed and at times navigated through my messages, both old and new to find current students that are engaging me in conversation regarding the most recent courses.  Can we not filter the messages differently so that old messages are not actively showing?  I would like to see only messages from my current courses, whether those are called favorites or current, it does not matter.  However, the default is "All Courses" which at time creates a bit of a hassle finding the student that I am dealing with.  Can the default setting be Active Courses or Favorite Courses? 

Leave the "All Courses" in the drop down menu so that if a former message needs to be accessed, it is available.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
