Canvas Student: Re-assigned Assignments need to show up on Student To-Do Lists in App

I have been re-assigning assignments to students expecting that they show up on their To-Do List on their iPad apps, only to find out this doesn't happen! All of our students use iOS devices to access their Canvas work via the app. The re-assign feature only works on web versions - they get a notification on their dashboard list view that the assignment has been re-assigned to them. This is no good for iOS and app version users and it needs to change!  If Teachers can re-assign tasks, then students need to know somehow that they have to do it again - across all the platforms they use, and that includes tablets, devices and Apps. Sometimes sending a comment and a canvas inbox message has helped get the message across, but this is cumbersome for teachers when marking.

Make the reassigned assignment show up in Student To-Do Lists in their app versions! PLEASE!
