Canvas Videos made accessible to multiple courses

I want Canvas make user recorded videos accessible across courses through the User Files or have the option to share to Commons.

Currently if you record a Canvas Video (Insert/Media/Record Media), the file is stored to an external website and is not loaded into your "Course Files" and cannot be shared to Commons. To use a video you have created in one course, you must download the video and then upload it to a separate course, with that video upload counting against your storage totals.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
