Catalog: Reports/analytics with more customizable data

I would love to see more customization available in the reports and/or analytics area in Catalog, particularly when it comes to revenue by course. We track everything by the ID used in Canvas (SIS ID), but I'm not able to pull any data in Catalog that link back to that ID. And we can't add any sort of ID number in Catalog, as it is automatically generated. If I could customize any of the fields generated in reports/analytics it would be extremely helpful.

I would love to be able to have the catalog dashboard account for drops and active enrollments (concluded enrollments would be nice too) instead of just the csv file. This is very misleading to admins.

Hi @tklein2 , Thank you for sharing your idea with us. Could you please elaborate on what additional capabilities you would like to see in Catalog Analytics? We are planning to improve Reporting and Analytics next year and we appreciate your input for it. Thanks!

We are also looking to include the SISID in the analytics reports.  We utilize a SSO with our employee numbers rather than an email address; therefore, the information available in the analytics reporting is incomplete.  Please keep me updated on any updates to Canvas Catalog analytics reporting.  Thank you!

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
