Chat support & Discussion App Canvas Teacher y App Canvas Student

Hello everyone,

From App Canvas Student and App Canvas Teacher we have detected two functionalities that hinder the use of these applications and that could be improved:
1- If you open a chat in the support and the mobile screen is blocked (while waiting for the technician's answer) the chat closes and you lose the communication with the technician.
2-In the discussions, if you open them from the App, an infinite list of answers appears in the discussions and it is very difficult to respond to the conversation.

Does it happen to anyone else? Instructure, can you fix it?

I would add that from the Canvas Teacher App it is not possible to reply to a forum.

Thanks for sharing these ideas. Unfortunately, we aren't able to move this submission forward in its current form because it contains two separate requests. How do I create a new idea conversation in the Canvas Community? provides guidance for writing singular idea prompts. 

Please rewrite the second idea, about participating in discussions via the apps, and submit it as its own request. A screenshot would help illuminate the issue for members.

The first idea references issues users are encountering when attempting to contact support through the app. Could you provide more information about this process and what is happening when a user attempts to initiate a chat? Schools often customize their pathways to support, so we'll need specific information to assist with this.
