Course Activity Report in New Analytics to show data in course time zone (not account time zone)

In the latest release to hit production we got access to a new feature in New Analytics - downloaded CSV reports. The Course Activity report has the account time zone applied, not the course time zone. We have instances where instructors will change the course time zone to suit their needs, usually based on the region of the world they are teaching in. We have structured our accounts so that we have the one root account only, which means that all sub-accounts will take on the root account time zone by default. We'd like to provide our instructors with data that aligns with the course time zone should they choose to pull that report, be in a different time zone to the root account, and decide to use that data, and without them having to take the additional steps of converting iso date/time to their course time zone.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
