Create a file of Master rubrics and then make each use one-time only, so edits remain possible each time.

(9)

When you ask to attach a rubric to an assignment, it pulls up every version of every rubric that you have ever used, which is chaotic  and if the rubric has already been used, you cannot change anything.  Why not create one folder with a few rubric master versions that you clone for one-time use into each individual assignment and can edit as you wish?

Yes, please!

Additionally, set the master so that when it is edited/updated, all the instances of that rubric are automatically updated to the new content. This would be extremely helpful for making changes to rubrics used more than once in a course.

Yes,

It would be nice to have options for creating or duplicating a rubric. If a master was available, changes to the body could be pushed out to all rubrics from that master.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
