I would like to suggest a way we can create pathways within our canvas course to assist HyFlex teaching. Ideally, I would have three pathways within my course. Most assignments would be for all students while a handful of assignments might be for on-campus students, online synchronous students, or online asynchronous students. Like a group, students could possibly sign themselves up for a particular pathway of assignments.
