Discussion Start Date on Calendar

Many students use the calendar as a to do list.  A discussion board has a start date and end date.  Only the end date displays on the calendar.  Therefore, students work on it at the last minute.  Can a discussion board start date be added to the calendar?

Hi - While this Idea is Open for Conversation, I would like to suggest that you can also add an Event to the Calendar to notify participants of a new activity beginning.

How do I add an event to a course calendar?

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
