Editing Multiple Item Bank Names in New Quizzes

Whenever I have to edit the name of an item bank, instead of keeping me where I was or taking me to where the new item bank name would be (either would be fine), it always forces me back to the first page of the item banks.

  1. This is very non-standard interface behavior.
  2. This is incredibly annoying when I want to change multiple item bank names on pages that are not automatically displayed along the bottom (i.e. page 8 out of 11).

Under what scenario does the existing method make sense?

I TOTALLY agree with the frustration of going back to the first page.  GRRRR!

Even if there were a "go to page" text box down with the page numbers would let us get back to the page we were on.  It takes longer to get back to the page than to do the renaming or sharing banks.

The other frustration with Item Banks, is they default to "This Course" and not to "All Banks when you first enter the Item Banks page. 

Thanks for any updates that can help us use our work time more efficiently.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
