Enable Group Assignments to Be Visible in the Groups Area

Currently learner groups have access to an abundant amount of group-specific tools via the Groups area in Canvas (accessible via Groups in Global Navigation and People in Course Navigation), including discussions that have been assigned to the group. However, group assignments are only accessible via Assignments or Modules (if they have been linked there). It would make sense to make all group assignments visible within the groups area so that learners do not have to navigate to multiple areas in Canvas to view and complete a group's tasks.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
