End of Quarter Needs

It would be great for there to be a way to hide assignments in grades at the end of a quarter so that we do not have a years worth of assignments that we have to wade through in order to grade assignments - this is specifically when using the Quizzes 2 builder, because there is not a "no grade" option. 

Along with this it would be great to have a quick "closed" option next to each assignment so we can just quickly click the three dots, and then select closed for that assignment, and not have to go in and change the available date at the end of the quarter - not all of us think ahead to that.

Thanks for sharing these ideas. Unfortunately, they contain two separate ideas affecting two different features in Canvas: Gradebook and Assignments. Each of these would have to be the subject of its own discussion so that we can gauge community sentiment and have the appropriate teams here monitor them.
